A little idea can go a long way!

In September, 2007, Louise Ross bought gas at Sobeys Fast Fuel in Bathurst and received a Sobeys grocery coupon for $1.17.  She proceeded to go grocery shopping but when she got home, she found the coupon was still in her pocket.  It was then, that she thought of the idea of having a box for someone to donate that small amount towards a good cause and that a Breakfast Program seemed like a perfect fit.

Discussions with the local Elementary Schools, Sobeys Bathurst and Sobeys Fast Fuel about the project were well received and all agreed to participate!  In 2007, a “Breakfast Program” box was put on the Sobeys Fast Fuel counter and to date, $101,372.48 has been collected and distributed among all schools in the Bathurst area.

Thanks you Louise, Sobeys Bathurst, Sobeys Fast Fuel and to everyone who helps support this great cause!
